Re: Downloads stall at 95% to 99%
It had something to d with the maximum number of sections. I had set to 10 and reduced it to 3 and now it doesn't do it. Not sure why but it's working properly now.

Re: Downloads stall at 95% to 99%
We have wireless and sometimes it does cut out, but I can tell if it's the connection by trying to load a web page. Connection problems manifest at all different times though, the problem I'm having is isolated to 95% - 99%. FDM stalls but I can still load web pages.

Downloads stall at 95% to 99%
The download gets to anywhere from 95% to 99% and quits. It won't restart unless I manually restart it. It's not specific to any website, it does it on all of them. It does it in both Vista and XP and two different computers, both 32-bit. Firefox on both. It happens with all types of downloads - vid...

Re: Download speed is slow compared to Firefox
FDM was set to 1 connection before I changed it, but I think I figured it out. I mainly use FF to download YouTube videos and they really move, so I think YouTube's servers must be pretty fast. When I started downloading videos from there is when I noticed it was a lot faster than normal. I experime...

Re: Download speed is slow compared to Firefox
I was looking at my Network settings and I increased the max connections to 36 and 6 per server. Then I noticed "Ignore all restrictions" in New Download>Advanced was unticked so I ticked it, but neither improved things. Still limited to about 115 kbps.

Download speed is slow compared to Firefox
I'm using 3.9.5 build 1542, but it's been an ongoing issue for awhile now. In Firefox 36, I regularly get download speeds of 170 kbps or more. But with FDM I can't much more than 115 kbps. I don't have anything set to limit download speed, as far as I know anyway. Does anyone know what I can do in F...

Re: Can't download torrents with FDM 3.9.5 RC 1526
Thanks for that info Usher, it's helpful. I enabled cookies for the sites where I'm trying to download and that seems to be the magic bullet. I'm getting the downloads now at least.

Can't download torrents with FDM 3.9.5 RC 1526
Okay guys, I'm just now starting to try and download torrents and it's not going so well. I've been able to get one successfully from a magent link, that's the only kind I've been able to get to work at all. In the Log tab it'll say 2 peers received, or 1 peer received, then just sits there for a lo...

Re: Window 7 intergated progress bar Taskbar Icon
Looks like this idea's been out there awhile now. Just wanted to add my +1. If the progress showed in the existing icon, like Firefox for example, that would be fine with me.

Re: FDM 5.0 alpha
I will say there doesn't seem to be the issue that plagued older versions, "Invalid username or password." This one downloaded them just fine. But I'm asking myself, why go to all the trouble? I started using FDM back when we had dialup and it was the only thing that could finish a downloa...

Re: Download works with Firefox and IE but not FDM
I tried FDM 5 and it works just fine without signing in. I don't think I want to pursue this any further. I'll either migrate to 5 or just use the built-in FF downloader.

Download works with Firefox and IE but not FDM
Would anyone have any idea why I can't download this document? The site is Dropbox and the document is one of mine. It said "invalid username or password." So I entered my username and password for Dropbox but it still wouldn't download. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvhp4ptm4tpmvpn/Visconti%2...

Deleting download causes long lag before new one starts
I'm using FDM Lite 3.9.2 (1289) with Firefox 3.6.28 and I'm having a peculiar issue. If I delete a download before it finishes, then add a new download, or try to navigate to a new web page, there's a lag time of a minute or more before the new download starts or the web page starts to transfer. It ...

Automatically select new download when it starts
When there are several downloads in the queue, is there a way to make each one highlight automatically when it starts so you can see the progress without having to click it? In mine you have to click each one manually after it starts before you can see the progress. Thanks.
