FDM seems to use some restricted media codecs which are listed there.

What exactly did you install. You need FDM, FDM extension in your browser and possibly third party add-on called Elephant.

It's not fake. It's an old third party extension which was developed when the FDM webextension plugin had not been ready yet.

This is by design. Why do you need it? Usually there are other apps using internet connection so FDM shouldn't use really unlimited speed in any mode, otherwise some apps may get non-responsive. IMO "Unlimited" should be defined as a part of a connection bandwidth and clearly described in...

What traffic mode do you use? Either change this mode to High or set higher limits for downloads in High mode (It's in Settings | Traffic limits menu).

You can use medium traffic mode for that case. Go to Settings | Traffic limits and lower upload speed for medium mode, then switch FDM to medium mode.

After updating GPU drivers you should restart your system, otherwise some GPU features may be temporarily broken in any program, not only in FDM. It may happen in any operation system.

I can't see any way to turn on dark mode on FDM forum. There is no option to change skin, automatic switching to dark mode doesn't work in older Windows, and dark mode forced by browser addons looks ugly.
