Tor and FDM - a match?
Same question here - is there a way to use FDM with tor?
Youtube is blocked here in China, and tor provides it way too slowly, so downloading and then viewing would be great!
Is this possible?

Accessing blocked sites
I write this from China.
Lots of people would really like a plug-in that does something like Tor or Dynaweb - allow access to blocked sites.
If people who were willing would accept being relays, then FDM could both speed up downloads (torrent-like) and allow bypassing censorship.

Re: FDM 5.0 alpha
Ah, great to see FDM being actively developed. If the Web installer is robust, i.e. if it survives Internet outages and the like, I love it. It will mean one can download FDM over a highly intermittent line, as in many African countries is the norm. FDM3 was too bulky to get down in one go most of t...

Re: FDM 3.9.3
Great program! I have a few small issues with torrent downloads, though. Downloading a .torrent file doesn't start the torrent itself; executing the downloaded file doesn't either. Adding a torrent from the web, or from the downloaded file -same thing. Magnet links work, though. And adding more vers...

Downloads from http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/DiskTune-Download-122757.html (under "Download locations" disappear without explanation. In the history section it says "Download removed", again without further explanation. It would be nice if there were a bit more feedback. ...

Plugin doesn't work with Pale Moon
Hi,
The plugin works fine with Firefox, and installs fine with Pale Moon, but there it doesn't do anything (besides adding to the context menu - but clicking those options is a no-op).
Does anyone recognise this? Know a solution?
Pale Moon 20.0.1 x64 on Windows 7 x64.

FDM 5 Feature request
As I don't dare to install FDM 5 yet, I don't know how to get to the support page. Sorry. I used to live in Africa, where slow (< 200 bytes/s) and very intermittent (breaking every couple of minutes) Internet and old tiny computers are the norm. Given that background, please consider: ⋅ Ke...

Re: FDM 3.9.1 BETA
All right, I managed to capture two detailed logs of Youtube downloads just before they disappeared (by manually copying to the clipboard at each change, so I may have missed some split-second last log entry). I see no way to attach a file to this message, so what does one want me to do with it? A s...

Re: FDM 3.9.1 BETA
FDM 1268, Windows 7, Firefox 15.0.1 Hmm - I posted a message and the system said I had succeeded, but it seems to be gone. Maybe I accidentally posted a new topic rather than a reply? Anyway, it was about Youtube downloads often suddenly disappearing. I now have one log from about a second before th...

Tiny bug in Settings panel
FDM 3.9.1. 1256 If the Settings window is open, with focus on the left (tree) panel, the up and down arrows allow one to move through the tree. The down arrow works fine, but the up arrow doesn't allow one to move across tree branches. Just walk all the way down and try to walk all the way up again ...
