The FDM Plugin that installed with Build 1294 (1.5.7.9) worked in Fx Nightly 21.0a1, but does not with Fx Nightly 22.0a1.

Does it really NOT work at all or Firefox just claims it is incompatible and blocks it? Have you read how to change maxVersion in install.rdf?

I've just tried changing Maxversion as recommended and Firefox 20 is still saying that the plugin is incompatible with Firefox 20.

I'm not seeing anything in the FAQ that seems to fit.

You should just install newest FDM 3.9.2 build. It contains FDM plugin version 1.5.7.9 with Maxversion set to 21.

With the advent of Fx 20 and soon Pale Moon 20, the FDM Plugin 1.5.7.6 is no longer compatible. Is there any chance of an update for these versions?

Current FDM build comes with plugin 1.5.7.9, not 1.5.7.6. Just read latest messages in this topic before posting, please.

Hi everyone, i installed build 1303 on windows xp, but plugin ff it's 1.5.7.6 again. On windows 7 installed the latest, but on win xp no. The problem is win xp?

I have installed FDM 3.9.2 build 1303. It contains FDM plugin version 1.5.7.9 with Maxversion set to 21(I modified to 30).

I've done the routine specified in " viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11665#p36150".

While FDM works with Firefox 21, it does not work with Firefox(Aurora) 22 (which is installed in a separate directory named Aurora). When I try to download, it downloads using the default internal download utility. Is it because the browser(Aurora) is in a different directory than Firefox?

There were some problems in older FDM installer builds. Follow the FAQ to fix your installation, please.

It is because user profile of Aurora is in different directory than user profile of Firefox. You can locate fdm_ffext@freedownloadmanager.org file as described in FAQ and copy it from your Firefox profile to your Aurora profile.

Fire Fox now on nightly build version 23.0a1. So An update would be good.

Yeah, I have firefox nightly 23.0a1 with FDM 3.9.2 build 1303 with plugin 1.5.7.9 on Win XP & had the install.rdf set MaxVersion to version 23 but it still doesn't automatically download even though the addon section say it has been made compatible. It still works on Opera though but I hate Opera.

I posted this problem about 2 weeks ago & nobody including the developer/moderator has replied to my post, so I take it they haven't come up with a solution or they weren't helpful at all. For now, I just had to keep copy/paste download URL manually & its getting tiresome.
