Re: FDM 6 cannot download right ISO files (merging files)
Alex wrote:Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue. I suspect your downloads goes through some buggy proxy server (or something like that), which breaks them.
Of course, it is really tricky here when I download them from Chrome or Firefox without using FDM, everything works fine apart from lower speed.

This is because web browsers downloads using 1 connection only. Try to pause/resume your download in web browser several times.

Re: FDM 6
I'm getting "can't process page" for youtube videos, i have to restart fdm to be able to download them but it will only let me download 1 youtube video then i have to restart again each time i want to download another video. This problem has only happened over the last few days, i'm using the latest version.

I'm having the same issue. Any solution yet?

Hello,
We are working on it. The problem is caused by Youtube servers.

I had the same happen on Nov 19 2020. On the 20th the problem was gone and has been working fine since.
About that same time subtitles do not download when I check them.
Also with the last update, when I choose auto shutdown it starts the last download then shuts down anyway.

Re: FDM 6
Hello, can I suggest a new feature here?
Can FDM has a flag or option to mark a URL as a folder link then try to get the list of links from that folder?
I usually served my files by using python one-liner, some photos or videos, but downloading them one by one to my phone/other devices is quite a chore. If possible I would like them be processed automatically by FDM, in which it would try to iterate and list them by 1-level from the said URL.
I think this feature is neat, and I think it exists back on FDM 2.x, would be nice to get it on v6.x as well

It seems to be hit and miss. I had a few YouTube downloads queued and it shutdown after all were completed. Later I tried it again and it gives the 30 sec warning then shuts down while the Last one is still downloading. After restarting computer and running FDM the last will resume. Older versions were fine as far as auto shutdown.
I still can't get subtitles to download from Youtube anymore. They must have changed something.
Thanks...
Re: FDM 6
for the past 2 days no youtube videos will download at all even after restarting fdm many times. I hope you can release a new version quickly.

When I first start up my Dell laptop after shutdown from the night before I have been getting the can't process error with youtube. If quitting FDM doesn't fix it then I have been shutting down the computer then after restart FDM usually works fine again. Once it starts working I can shut the computer off though out the day and FDM always works.
**Update** Nov 30 2020. It must have been on my end or Youtube as I no longer get the can't process error and subtitles are now working again.

Why linux version is behind the other platforms? 6.7.0.2533 RC vs 6.12.1.3374 stable
