help. downloading more than one file at a time

Postby waterprism » Mon Aug 23, 2004 10:54 pm

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to go about downloading more than one file at the same time with FDM. I don't know if I'm just missing something obvious but I can't seem to figure it. When I try to d/l two things at once, only one d/l's at a time and the other pauses.

Would appreciate help from anyone here. I haven't received feedback from the support email address.

Thanks,

waterprism

Hi! waterprism

Try this
Option - Download Options - Maximum Number of running downloads

Change the default number 2 to what you prefer
waterprism

two downloads

Thanks, Shodan. I appreciate your help. Unfortunately that didn't work though. Is there anything else I can try? Can FDM download more than one file at a time?

Appreciate it,

is it from the same server? if so then maybe the maxconnections pr one server plays a part (i dont realy know the priority here, i run it one one download only with the others waiting).

allso make sure that you changed it for the right mode. if you changed light mode and your running it in heavy mode then the change will have no effect.
