Conflict with Kaspersky products
Using Free Download Manager with KAV/KIS/etc may result in different problems both in FDM itself and in your entire system.
You should add Free Download Manager (fdm.exe) to the trusted zone of KAV/KIS/etc to avoid the problems.
Look at this image to learn how to add FDM to trusted zone in KAV 2009 (you may enable more options in contrast with this example if it will not help completely).

In Vista, I have FDM 2.5 build 758 with KIS 2009. FDM is not in Trusted Zone.
In Windows 2000, I have FDM 3.0 build 848 wit hKAV 7. FDM is not in trusted zone.
What are the problems you see?
Does this also apply to Zonealarm whichb uses some kaspersky?
I have been having huge problems with FDM on my 64bit vista with every download ending in a CRC error when unzipping and was blaming this on an incompatibility with the os as the same downloads work fine on my laptop which is 32bit.
Would this problem explain this or should I still be looking for 64bit issues.
