Georgian Translation
Hello FDM
My name is George Melitauri and i'm Writing from UGLT (United Georgian Localization Team), we want to translate this program to Georgian, but there are some problems. when we translating strings they not appear in program correctly.
our text encoding is Unicode (UTF-8). we also downloaded RC version (3.50) but there are same problem. if you can please help us to make this program in Georgian (add UTF-8 Support in Language Files).
Thank You

Re: Georgian Translation
Hi!
FDM does not support UTF-8 encoding in its language files.
You need to save in the suitable ASCII encoding.

Re: Georgian Translation
Alex, you seem to have forgotten discussion in "How to start translation to New Language" topic.
Georgian language has no Windows/ANSI codepage and the only way to support it is to use Unicode - either UTF-16 or UTF-8 encoding.
Windows have native support for UTF-16, you should just use Unicode (Wide) string functions instead of ANSI ones. And you can easy recognize text file in UTF-16 - it should always start with BOM.

Re: Georgian Translation
In this case it's not possible to translate it to Georgian for now. UTF in language file will not help because FDM uses ANSI version of Windows APIs. And currently we have no plans to make it use Unicode version.
