Interesting observation, but maybe it's just not showing precise traffic?
idk...but could be...another thing is if the value exceed then you change mode "medium>high>medium" the value seem to be correct again 1.5 MB/s...so im not sure

Hm, thank you, I'll pass it on to the devs.
Re: FDM 6.6 BETA
When i delete a download the "delete selected" tooltip doesn't disappear in the latest beta:
Also as you can see the text in the application is very small on my 1080p laptop using 125% scaling in windows 10.

Thank you for the information.
Re: FDM 6.6 BETA
Hi there in version 5.1.38 there was an option when saving a file you could change the file name to be saved, will you be adding this feature. Also will you be adding a preview screen say for example if we download a video picture or sound file we could see what it looks like or sounds like.
Re: FDM 6.7 Release Candidate
Just downloaded and tested v6.7.0.2439 and there is still the same issue as I reported in v6.6.0.2261 Beta: When entering new values in Preferences>Traffic Limits, if you type values into Max number of Connections/Connections per Server/Simultaneous Downloads boxes, numbers either can't be typed or they simply don't seem to save the values properly if you exit Preferences and then go back into Preferences. Not all of these boxes seem to have the problem and it seems to be random in that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
The good news is it appears the other issue I reported where unticking "Enable Sleep Mode while running finished downloads" and having both "Check for updates automatically" and "Install updates automatically" ticked, then leaving Preferences and going back to Preferences where the update options were then unticked is now resolved.

Hello,
Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this. Could you please upload your FDM6 database somewhere (e.g. you can use https://anonfile.com/ for this) and send me the link via private message on this forum? In case of Windows OS, it's located here: %localappdata%\softdeluxe\free download manager\db.sqlite.

Re: FDM 6.7 Release Candidate
I'm testing FDM v6.7.0.2439 and there is strange bug, that happens when FDM is opened, my floppy disk drive (A:) start to sounds like if reading something constantly, but I don't have any diskette inserted, and neither an option inside FDM is realted with floppy drives, but seems somehow FDM is trying to read something from my floppy disk drive constantly, and causing annoying sounds
Re: FDM 6.7 Release Candidate
You should do as follows:Alex wrote:DKerr wrote:Just downloaded and tested v6.7.0.2439 and there is still the same issue as I reported in v6.6.0.2261 Beta: When entering new values in Preferences>Traffic Limits, if you type values into Max number of Connections/Connections per Server/Simultaneous Downloads boxes, numbers either can't be typed or they simply don't seem to save the values properly if you exit Preferences and then go back into Preferences. Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this.
1. Click some edit field to put text cursor there. Delete the old value and type a new one.
Don't do anything more with this field – don't use Tab, don't press Enter, don't press any key at all and don't click outside of the field, the value should be saved on exit.
2. Use mouse to select value in another edit field and try to overwrite it. It's impossible now, the cursor disappears, doesn't follow the mouse pointer.
If you want to edit any field you must first click it to put cursor there. Tab key doesn't move to the next edit field.
The same behaviour is present in Linux version. I think it's some QT feature, I don't know if it's possible to change it somewhere in edit field properties.

Hello, what is the version of your OS? The problem is caused by FDM periodically trying to get information about all the drives in your system. This information is required for proper processing of the downloads on removable disks.

FDM 5 import just in time the perfect way to end the year, special thanks the the FDM Team!
Re: FDM 6.7 Release Candidate
FDM should NOT check any drive which isn't present on FDM download list. The only check for other drives should be done when starting a new download.Alex wrote:The problem is caused by FDM periodically trying to get information about all the drives in your system.
