FDM 5.1
Re: FDM 5.1
CAVEAT: This post is purely a development question, nothing more
Hi, Clive and all the other devs here,
I just uninstalled the latest FDM 5.1.35.xx in order to install an older version which has server date / time stamps working correctly. Upon uninstall, a file was leftover that could not be deleted manually - windivert64.sys.
In searching I found more than one reference to it being malicious, but being a good researcher, I read carefully - every single instance of those mentions were because of the fact that the file, which is open source and developed by basil @ reqrypt, was being used with other actually nefarious software (many references to RunBooster adware). In reading over at Basil's Github for windivert, though, it's clear that he did not develop it for any actual nefarious purpose:
https://github.com/basil00/Divert
My question is this though: According to the WinDivert FAQ:
And yet, according to the file installed on my system, the version installed is 1.3.
Checking the releases at https://github.com/basil00/Divert/releases shows that 1.4.0 was a RC, but not actually fully released (AFAICT). But that was back in Jan. However, as of 5 April, 1.4.1 *has* been released.
In reading further throughout the issues list, I see that there is a topic that started back in 2015 regarding signing of the driver (https://github.com/basil00/Divert/issues/53) that might affect the ability to use on Windows 10.
Other than that, I see a few issues, but none serious enough to not migrate to 1.4.1.
Is there a plan to do so in the near future? If not, why not? Is it because of the signing issue that basil is facing, or other reasons?

Question: Which versions of WinDivert are deprecated?
Answer:
All WinDivert versions except 1.4 are deprecated and should not be used. Please update to the latest version.
And yet, according to the file installed on my system, the version installed is 1.3.

Unfortunately not. Still the same issues.
=> Fallback to 5.1.34 and waiting for the next update.

Re: FDM 5.1
Hi FDM TEAM:
I just updated my macOS to Mojave(10.14).
When I click the FDM(5.1.37), it crashed at the beginning .
Would you mind fix this bug on next FDM update?
BTW, your app is fantastic and I really appreciate you guys.

Hi, the only official links are to the current build.
Hello.
But the current build has a problem with "Use server time for file creation" option. Which is important to me and I'd like to roll back to a working build.
