FDM and Firefox? No extensions?
FDM and Firefox? No extensions?
Hello there...
i'm trying to install the extensions for Firefox... but it's not working? Both are installed with the latest versions!
Has someone the same problem or is it me?
Thanks for any advice!

Hm... let's see... if i click on the link in the settings to check or install the extensions Firefox opens an empty window... last time, a few days ago with another installation Firefox showed something. Now, after i set back Windows 10 it's not functioning. . After all that i was searchign for the add-on on the Firefox site,.... found nothing. Now i'm out of ideas.
Thanks!

When I try to download the extension for FF I get: "Download failed. Please check your connection." But the connection is fine. Started about a week ago.

Currently all WebExtensions in Firefox are disabled because of expired certificates. You can't turn them on or automatically install now:
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/s ... rtificate/
You can:
- Use one of workarounds described in the linked article.
- Temporarily disable xpinstall.signatures.required checking. It should work in Firefox ESR, developer or nightly builds and in Firefox for Android. This setting has been described earlier:
search.php?keywords=xpinstall*&terms=all&author=Usher&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=-1&t=0&submit=Search
Then you can download needed extension and install it manually. Or you can wait for fix from Mozilla.

Re: FDM and Firefox? No extensions?
Mozilla fixed only the currently supported Firefox versions. They should be updated automatically. You can also download Firefox 66.0.5 or Firefox 60.6.2esr from Mozilla site: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/
For more details read https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ad ... ll-firefox
For other versions some more actions may be required.
* For Firefox 57+ download and install hotfix prepared by Mozilla:
https://storage.googleapis.com/moz-fx-n ... signed.xpi
Restart Firefox. If anything is still broken, open about:config tab, right-click and reset the "app.normandy.first_run" preference, then restart the browser again.
* For even older Firefox (up to 56, including last XP version 52.9.0esr) (download and) install another fix prepared by Mozilla:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... fix-52-56/
If something is still broken after Firefox restart, you should remove broken extensions, restart the browser again and reinstall removed extensions.
