This goes to show since no one has the links your trying no one can reproduce or know what is happening. So until there is details and links your asking the impossible. No one here knows what site or link your trying to know what is happening.

No, the links weren't the problem. Usher already guided me. so Thanks for your "contribution" to this community, Mr Genius.

For me is impossible to intercept any download with Firefox 66.0.5 (64 bit) and with Waterfox 56.2.9 (64 bit) on my PC with Windows 7 installed.
Free download manager says that I've not firefox installed! However after installed the oficial web-extention on my browsers I could intercept downloads, until some days ago!
Now the download button doesn't appear anymore. I've also tried to download another webextention for my browser named "Download with Free Download Manager (FDM)" but I obtain this error:

What's happen?

But what FDM build, what FDM extension version? How did you fix addons blocked by Firefox?

It looks like Mozilla updated AMO signing procedures and the extension should be re-released with bumped version number to force new digital signing.

1. It's not about lack of signing, it's about its expiring/outdating.
2. You haven't named your xpi version, so we can only guess. Some xpi builds were buggy and might cause different error messages depending on web site and/or Firefox version.
3. Note that you have installed old build 1638 with incompatible xpi version and probably ignored warning

Changes:
[*] Firefox 47+: updated integration mechanism. Now FDM uses ffext2 WebExtension from AMO.

Note for the users updating from previous versions: please remove old FDM extension from all Firefox profiles and close Firefox browser before installing and running updated FDM.

So what was your fault?

I am install last build FDM 1641. And this extension https://addons.mozilla.org/uk/firefox/a ... ger-addon/ I still have error. BUT! If i am quit from FDM(exit from tray) and try download again all work without errors until next restart PC.

PS found temporary solution for me - remove FDM from autostart. FDM download starts without errors. But if i have FDM autostarted with Windows startup i have again error.

It has been a year since the latest version of FDM 3 was released and there is no update for it from then. Could you tell me if you are going to stop developing and maintaining this version, please? This is the best FDM version I have used.

There are no new FDM 3 versions in the future.

Hi,

I continue here with the problem......At moment I cannot download any youtube video, replaced router tried a lot of things, still nothing. I removed FDM and reinstall it again, same thing.

I now used Process Monitor and it look I found something, but I dont really know what it means exactly. All I know is it happens during the time frames I load the link in FDM and lt find it, instead it find nothing....Here are the failures picked up from process monitor I see a lot of successes, but copied the failures.

Your problem with Youtube has nothing to do with FDM.EXE. FDM uses separate ytparser.dll library to parse youtube webpage code. This dll does know nothing about changes in that code and there is no way provided to pass modified parsing rules to this dll. Read Recurring "Parsing failure" errors on Youtube topic, please, if you want to know more details.

Finally, stop selecting more or less random topics for adding new messages about the same problem, please, it's not helpful. Provide link to some problematic downloads and other details if needed - as it's described in the reporting rules (see link in my signature).

Hello,
Unfortunately, FDM3 YouTube parser was not updated for a long time, and we do not plan to update it.
If you want to use FDM to download YouTube videos, the only way is to use FDM6.
