3.9.5 BETA 1514 can't download form http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index ... indows-x86 .which is PSP emulator PPSSPP's auto-build releases.

It only downlaods an index.php rather than the .7z file. DownThemAll extension for Firefox works well though.

Not sure how the combining of audio and video channels of a youtube download is supposed to work, but it doesn't work for me. Am I supposed to select both the audio and video file and then click "convert"? If after a download I select the audio file and then click convert, it does the conversion but the converted file only contains audio. If I try the same with the video file selected, I get error code -2 and the program asks to be restarted, which does not help.

I'm using version 1515 by the way...

Version 5 Alpha - For media/video downloads, I like the rightclick option i.e rightclick video clip & select "Download with FDM".
The reason I like this option is, it allows me to download videos without playing the video. And the videos I download, I dont need to play & check as they are from trusted source & excellent quality.

At my place internet is very costly. I get 4GB at 4MBPS speed for a month for 1000 bucks.
So playing the video & clicking on download, till then video loads faster due to good 4MBPS speed & eats my internet plan, & I have to download the video.
For Example - If a video size is 100MB, then playing & clicking download, till then due to fast net, the video loads fast & eats around 30-35MB, & I have to download the video so the total will be 135MB instead of 100MB. And this affects my limited internet plan.
I like rightclick option, as no need to play videos & this helps me saving my internet plan.

Can you plzz add rightclick option in this version too?

Unfortunately, Firefox started to block FDM 3.9.5 with message "May contain a virus or spyware". Our main suspects were about FLV sniffer which is (as you said) very useful. But it "intrudes" into the incoming traffic so the browser may reasonably "think" that it can damage your security.

We removed the sniffer, and FF stopped blocking.

We'll think how to safely bring it back (a separate installer or just make that option unchecked by default).

But it works fine with Internet Explorer latest & Chrome latest on Win 7 64.
I have tried Version 5 Alpha. With 5 Alpha, I can download videos with rightclick on the video clips & selecting download with fdm perfectly fine. No malware warning, no probs on Internet Explorer & Chrome latest on Win 7 64.

Do you mean, you guys are planning to remove the rightclick video download from Version 5 alpha?

To be clear, by rightclick video download, I mean the normal rightclick option "Download with FDM" & not "Download Video with FDM"

Download with FDM - is the normal rightclick option that downloads files, etc... In Version 5 Alpha, Download with FDM can also download videos on YouTube i.e rightclick on any video clip & select download with fdm & you get all the video options like 1080p/720p/480p, etc...

Download Video with FDM - is another rightclick option that could detect any playing video so one can download the video.

Hope its clear now.

While running IE11 browser monitoring, responsible for monitoring the plug causes the error IE11. After switching off the monitor does not have this problem.

It would be nice if the new version could import/export checksums via download lists (import/export) and command line option (import).

FDM can handle referer links properly when monitoring downloads from Mozilla Firefox.

The problem has been there along time but hasn't been fixed yet. Some file hosts such as http://pan.baidu.com in China as example. You can't use right click context menu to download but to monitoring and override Firefox's download session. It will get the download link properly though but the referer link is null.In this situation, you get very low or unstable download speed. You can stop then manually add referer lin http://pan.baidu.com for the download mission then start it,then you'll get at least 500KB/s per section(segment). You can try the link down below

As for the problem above...The browser's cookies seems not transferred properly either. Many file hosts need both referer and cookies to get to work better (for speed or compatibility)

It might be because of Norton's false positive or conflict with AdBlock reported in other topics.
Don't using Norton, don't using AdBlock, using Firefox 36 and FDM 3.9.5 without problems with flash video downloads.
Problems are with Youtube download in Firefox and FDM integration with Internet Explorer - more details will follow.

You don't need to use "Media preview" or "Convert" button to download (and merge if needed) proper files, it should work automatically.
Read the message here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17016&start=15#p39936
and see the picture here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17016&start=30#p39963
Note that the real picture in FDM currently shows NO blue links and you must guess which files are video only, files with audio only are clearly tagged as seen in this message (see [MP4 Audio], [WebM Audio] tags):
