Google Chrome Integration
Re: Google Chrome Integration and file type conversion option
Adding a workable auto setup for Chrome monitoring, and adding an internal image file converter from all types to TIF file imaging would aid in speed and image quality preservation. TIF is non-compressed for image quality, and the info does not degrade as with other types, saves very quickly.
One of the worst aspects of Chrome is the poor image quality handling. Saving in JPEG is a poor decision to users, but fits pop. distribution bandwidth ambitions. Working past the limits would aid image quality concerns, as in space mission satellite imaging.
FDM, Chrome, and TIF file conversion added. ??
The same for the other 'lesser' browsers and FDM, as well.

Re: Google Chrome Integration
For SRWare Iron, I created a plugins folder in the program directory and copied npfdm.dll to that. Then I checked the box for "Google Chrome" in Options | Monitoring and used the "Download Assistant" extension for Google. Sometimes, FDM is able to capture the download (as in the case of Megaupload) but sometimes it cannot (as in the case of files downloaded from CNet), which means the internal downloader of the browser takes over.
