FDM with Rapidshare

Postby mossy464 » Tue Dec 16, 2008 2:36 pm

Hi,

Im a premium rapidshare user and I tried using FDM for multiple downloads at the same time but it is only downloading one file at a time. It waits for one to finish before it starts the next one. Can I make it do multiple downloads at the same time??

Yes, it's possible.
In FDM go to OPTIONS - download options, then choose Network tab.
Change the 'maximum number of connections per one server to 19.

1st. Just buy yourself a Premium Account.
2nd. Pirated software is not free software.

Bulk url for Rapidshare

Postby Vin » Fri Jan 23, 2009 11:27 am

Hi!

I wish to know if there is a way of posting multiple rapidshare urls for download in one single window. It seems one has to post a single url each time he has to download. I am a premium member.

Thanking you,

Vin

I am usinf FDM (Firefox - Flashgot) for 1 - 1,5 year and I am very satisfied. I am also a premium member at rapidshare. Everything was perfect until the 2 last weeks. The download from rapidshare and other sites delays to begin, the speed from 800-900 KB/sec (ADSL 12Mbps) suddenly reduces to 0 (!) and for some minutes gets stuck, then it increases for some minutes and then back to 0. I don't know what to do, maybe it is a setting that must be corrected. If anyone is encountering the same problem or has a solution, please reply. I have also communicated with Support, as soon as I have a reply from them, I'll inform you.

yes there are actually 2 ways. eather get the links on a single text document and save it to somewhere (solution 1), or copy to clipboard the links (solution 2). in solution 1 u then do file/ import/ import list of sownloads and then search for the file u saved and load it. in solution 2 u then do file/ import/ import list of URLs from clipboard.

Why not make FDM get the links in Clipboard when you do the copy operation (like Flashget) and avoid extra steps?

What browser do you use? What version of FDM? How do add downloads from rapidshare? Did you try 3.4 ALPHA?
