Downloaded the latest Stable Build, seems like a lot of bugs have been squished and its ready for daily usage. Unfortunately, few bugs are still there.

- Password is not saved, even if the Save is checked.
- Still getting lesser speed then IDM. Might be an individual based problem. Picture Link - http://prnt.sc/dcawpp
For first few seconds FDM speed is aound 410-390 and then it falls to 350 and stays there.

Would love some Beta builds along side Stable ones.

How can i download multiple links with FDM 5 ? It was possible with FDM 3, if someone know a soft making it working it would be great. I was using Flashgot for FDM 3 but it seems like flashgot doesn't support FDM 5 :/

Hello,
Select links, right click, choose "Download selected with FDM". Works in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer.

Show download info window (instead of main GUI) <=== cant this thing be put in setting instead...i mean there 2 type of downloader...one that download a little file everyday(probably want that download info window) and the other one that download quite a batch of file(probably will be annoying if there a lot of window..might want main gui instead)...and dark gui pliss-- im not gonna complain about modern ui anymore as long as there a lot of skin

I think the new version is beyond awful. Where are literally any of the advertised features that used to be present in FDM? If I wanted a simple feature-lite/feature-free download manager, I would have just stuck with the browser default.

Changelog says build 5362 has batch downloads.
I've updated to build 5362, but can't seem to find batch downloads
Am I missing something? :(

Dear User!

We have added the batch download feature in the latest version.

To download several files:
1) Select the files that you want to download.
2) Right-click.
3) Download selected files by FDM.

As you can seе, it's quite simple.

Kind regards,
Clive

"Download selected" is NOT a batch download available in FDM 3.x (menu "Downloads | Create batch download" or "File | Import | Import list of downloads" or "File | Import | Import list of URLs from clipboard")

As @Usher said, this is NOT batch download. And I'm sure the FDM team know full well what unhappy users really mean when they say they want batch download (and many other features) from FDM 3.x.

I can understand if some features take more time to implement in a whole new interface (and framework perhaps), but saying what it isn't in the changelog is inappropriate.

Guys, completely lost here. Is the 3.X features already implemented on 5.X?
I saw Clive send my suggestions for Web Crawler/Site Explorer for the team and I haven't seen any responses.

Thanks in advance!

We'll think about adding these features in one of the nearest releases.

Not all of them. FDM5 has no Web Crawler/Site Explorer features. These features has 9% of users votes overall.
This means that we have no plans to implement them in the near future.
