FDM ins great, i dont like use google chrome but i want to use other great web browsers like yandex browser, brave, browser....i have installed FDM extension in yandex and brave and opera browsers but i can't use and catch downloads with FDM when i use these browsers......please add integration or extensions compatible with yandex and brave and chromium browsers.

Ok, thank you, i found this extension "Download with Free Download Manager (FDM)" that offers integration with FDM but it seems complicated because a small native client is required.....did FDM team recommand this extension ?

A native client is always required. It's also a part of FDM, just search the forum for older topics:

But what is wrong with native FDM extension? Did you try to provide path to your browser as it was suggested in the topic about Opera?

I don't use opera, i use the revolutionary brave browser, and also yandex which has automatic battery and power saver because my notebook is not very powerful.....google chrome use big power so i can't use it.....opera doesn't have power saver implemented by default to notebook without battery , but yandex has this feature very useful for me

Topic about Opera (ChromOpera) is for all Chromium-based browsers. Which one of your browser Is NOT Chromium-based?

I have tried many and many times during months, integration doesn't work with yandex and brave browser, every browser has his own specification and differences, son may be you should try these browsers before you make me a liar

The developers said there is non native integration with other browsers , only with google chrome , firefox, opera....i have used other dowload managers during this time but they upset me with their adware and limitations so now i hope there will be integration with other browsers soon

If any Chromium-based browser uses some extensions from Google Play store, then other extensions also should work, possibly with some small fixes. That's why the devs asked you to test solutions proposed for other Chromium-based browsers. But either you don't want to do such tests or don't want to report what exactly is wrong. Do you think it's helpful?

you want me to be helpful ?!! i said i installed the extension in yandex and brave and i can't download, that's all ....i have months ago seen a bug with fdm and reported and descride it and discuss with Clive....i juste said a hope that FDM will be compatible with yandex and brave....you be helpful to the community, don't be lazy Mr monkey darwin, you should install yandex and brave and check by yourself....i never talk to you, i talk to Mr Clive, the opinion of the developers and future projects to make FDM compatible with others browsers, that's what really interests me

Hey guys I guess I've found the solution.

- First of all download the FDM and install it.
- Then add the extension on Brave.
- Click chrome-extension://jlodlegnpjplclncjkgolcmdhjmlokna/data/guide/index.html#to download the ZIP package for your operating system or click https://github.com/belaviyo/native-client/releasesto browse all available download options.
- Now double-click the install.bat file

And it should hopefully work!

Thanks for your report. You have described how to use alternate, third party extension with FDM. It's a recommended workaround when you have problems with native FDM extension.

However, native FDM extension should also work if you install it in your browser directly from Google Play site. I was asking to report what went wrong when installing it but I got insults rather than reports.
