port FDM to linux pls
I miss two things on my Ubuntu very much. One is <Poppeeper> and the other is FDM of course. Please can somebody port FDM to Linux. Developers give us some information what you think about it.
Ubuntu is simply awesome. That's a shame FDM is not running on Linux. Many of us don't know anything about how to code a programme, and we're just looking for simplicity and free programmes (we don't want to be bothered with serial keys, genuine activation and so on, that's why we've chosen ubuntu). Administrators, developpers, hear our call, we'd really appreciate our best download manager run on Linux.

Deko, if you want that your call would be heard by the devels, you should call where they're listening. Did you made some posts on some linux boards?
If not, you could tell all your friends, to tell all teir friends, they should tell all them friends to post this quote up there on everey single board they know and maybe there's one bored guy, who don't know how to spend his time, doing it with some lazy clicks while watchin' some t1ts. HAHA
Oh i would like to see the FDM on Linux too, but on Linux you're on your own or your community. If a Programm comes to Linux depends on the target group. But maybe that Day will come.

Note that this is .com, not .org.
Does this have anything at all to do with the FDM we all know and love?

where is the .com please???
It says http://www.reget.com/ down in the corner. I think that would imply that it isn't related FDM.
Linux Version
Please make a Linux version! If FDM was created with Delphi then it can be ported to Linux by using Lazarus:

There is plenty of resources out there for developers:

Im Mistaken
Opps my mistake (above post) I just saw that its developed in C++.
Anyway if you are going to port it I recommend porting it with GTK as Ubuntu with Gnome desktop environment is the most popular. There are some very good IDE's out there that have integrated GUI creation so all ye would have to do is link the backend code to the created GUI.
Here are some good IDE's but Anjuta would probably be best:
