FDM Firefox Extension Doesn't Do Anything

Postby fuzzybat23 » Sat May 12, 2018 1:14 pm

As far as I can tell, the firefox extension is largely useless. Unless it opens and directs downloads to the Free Download Manager when you click on the download link, instead of dragging and dropping it, it doesn't really add any integration at all. That's what it should be doing, so if the firefox extension can be modified to redirect download links to FDM instead of firefox's internal downloader, that'd be awesome! And I know this can be done, as other download managers do that exact thing. I ended up dropping those others because, unlike FDM, you can't control the speed of the download with them ;(

Could you follow the reporting rules and send required details rather than complaints, please?

Have to agree with Usher, because it catches more than 90% of the links I open in Firefox, my default browser (and the fact that FDM works so well in Fx is one of the many reasons Fx *is* my default).

Hi, have you verified that the extension is enabled?
