FDM using A LOT of memory with long list of downloads
Hi, I've got about 50-70 things queued up, and every time I start FDM, it hangs for about 5-10 minutes, writing huge amounts of data to my Paging File. In Task Manager i can see that it's using up to 180 MB of memory! The actual amount goes up and down, initially it goes up to 180 MB then settles down to about 30-50 MB and stays at that amount for about 5 minutes, meanwhile the program's inaccessible. My system only has 256 MB, so a lot of it ends up getting written to my hard drive. My Paging File size gets to be about 1 GB and keeps going higher until I shut down FDM. Even if I wait for it to finish doing whatever it's doing, once I change the queue list (delete an item, highlight a new item, etc.), I have to go through the whole process again. Why is it doing this? shouldn't it only need enough memory for the 2 files it's allowed to download at a time? Is there a fix or work-around for this? Thanks!
