Download problem

FDM has been failing to properly download many files lately. Instead of downloading the actual target file FDM will download a file called 'downloading.php'. Its so frustrating that I want to go back to GetRight. :(

Any suggestions?

What browser do you use?
What is the build number of your FDM (you may see it in help/about box)?

I use Firefox 3 with the FlashGot extension.

Try to uninstall FlashGot and use FDM's integration.

After finding FlashGot in 3 profiles and uninstalling them all, FDM works just fine now. Thanks! :D

Also, will there be an update to the virus scanning after downloading option which will include Avast? FDM crashes the Avast quickscan when scanning downloaded files. GetRight does not cause Avast to crash.
