I'm very unhappy of FDM 5. In version 5 are missing too many features. I can't set the download speed like in the old version (ex: 320 KB/s) and now the Chrome Extension not work with FDM 3.9.7.

quand je telecharge une film pour autre à 1000mo , en dix {10} secondes j'ai ce film ou autre .
c'est performant, gratuit , rapide, bel interface .ect . .
merci aux concepteurs de ce logiciel, bon boulot ! ! !

To me one of the most useful features would be once the file is downloaded to know the total download time it took as well as the average speed. I know it varies based on the number of downloads going on but it would still be a usuful numbers to know with very little work on your end.

In FDM 5, you can set the download/upload speed and the maximum number of connections/simultaneous downloads for each traffic mode.

Now, from all removed settings that were possible in FDM 3.9.7, would like to see the option of recording a log file with downloaded urls.

It can be ported to a UWP application available from the Windows Store.

I've been using Free Download Manager for years and maybe this helps more users find out about the software

How did you guys manage to lose all of your source code?
This new "FDM", which has nothing to do with the actual FDM just wasted me 2 days of time because it doesn't allow changing the link mid-way through the download to continue an interrupted download from a temporary link.
This is the sole use-case I ever used FDM — why else would I need a separate tool for downloads if not for problematic ones?!
Gosh. This piece of software is absolutely useless now!
