Can I download a big file simultaneously from multiple, servers?

In other words can FDM start the download of e.g. the first 100 MB from server1, the second 100MB from server2,....

If yes, how can I tell him to download from serveral servers ?

Currently I added 5 servers as mirrors but it seems to me that FDM downloads only from ONE server.

How can I verify how many servers FDM already contacted and from how many servers he currently download?

Check out the # of "Sections" and the log?

The last few builds (somewhere after 700) are really problematic when it comes to this. This was already noted some time ago on the (this) forum.

Will these "problems" be fixed in the next release ?

I was just searching for this option in this forum and would be happy if this would be possible asap. This is the second time, I am using FDM and I was just looking for this posibility! As you can see it is a demand. Thanks
