Ok, I did the test (had to disable silent monitoring). After closing FF, Both firefox.exe (all instances) and fdm_nativehost.exe processes ended. Then I started the download (which was pending), but I got the same result, it just stops at 99% and never ends.

If I copy the URL (https://www.rizonesoft.com/download/4306/) and create a new download in FDM, then it works fine.
If I click it or right-click it-->download with FDM, then it does not work.

Oh and BTW, I also have problems downloading any of the test files from https://www.thinkbroadband.com/download using FF57+Webext 3.0.6+FDM 3.9.7 (error: access denied).
But, Using Waterfox or cyberfox with the flashgot extension+FDM 3.9.7 works just fine.

It could be that the webext is not passing the correct referrer to FDM...
(The referrer field in FDM is blank. Should FDM generate it automatically from the web page where you start the download from???)

fdm 3.9.7 does not catch downloads from google drive i am using firefox 57.04 please help

It's not FDM 3.97, it's the extension.

Please Fix Youtube Music Videos are not downloading by adding URL manually to fdm,Google Drive issue,Downloading of individual files from a torrent and add a download button to download videos from websites

What version of FDM are you using? Step by step how your doing your downloadings?

I have switch from firefox to chrome now everything is fine except some music videos are not downloading from youtube eg:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGwWNGJdvx8

Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

i don't like ver 5.x
it removed many features and got sucks!

That's the reason I went back to v3 it was far better in customization and gave the user more controls. And the fact that it will save downloads to match server date was one reason. And I like the portable options of it as well.

When do you release next update?

Also hoping for a next coming update for the wonderful fine, little and still very well working version 3.9 of your program!!

Today I got the latest Firefox ESR and FDM 3.9.7 (latest build 1638) will not intercept the downloads.

Anything I can do ! (except going to FDM 5.0 as that lacks too many options, even the option ask if file exists what to do )

Edit: Created a NEW Blanco Profile without any Extensions, and NOPE no intercepting by FDM.
