Bug: Keeps stopping when downloading

Postby Guest » Fri Aug 20, 2004 12:04 am

I have version 1.0 build 181. No matter what settings I change it keeps stopping after downloading a few pages/links/etc. I have to manually tell it to
start downloading again. I can also click on the light, medium, or heavy icons and it will start again. It will stop after 3 - 5 downloads every time. It is really annoying. It ran well at first but doesn't want to keep going.

Any suggestions?

Me too  . If you unckeck the limits of the traffic usages modes, FDM dont stop downloading but in some minutes it crash and lose the project of the downloading web site. I think the problem is that FDM try to download all the files of the web site.

Max number of conns per server: ???
Max number of running downloads: ???

And for Medium Mode and Light Mode.

I have tried many different manual configurations and have also used the configuration wizard to change the settings. I have a T1 speed and tried changing settings down to 56 kbps. Still no continual downloading ability.

Cool!
I have the same problem and I will wait for the next version too :)
From all download managers I've tried FDM is the best one and even more it is free...
By the way it will be nice to put a field on the main window with the url where the file is downloading.
