Hello, it's been month now since my fdm stopped working. I installed fresh windows 10 a month ago and after that my fdm never worked. It keeps giving the same error everytime I try to download something. I completely uninstalled fdm and reinstalled it again but it doesn't work now idk why. I checked my firewall and its not blocked either in my windows firewall. I don't know what to do I tried other fdm versions too but non of them work. I attached some screenshots down below see if you can solve my problem.

Your current installation of FDM is broken. Something has deleted its essential components. You need to reinstall it.

I have reinstalled so many times but it didn't work. I am getting same errors. I even tried older versions but non of them work. This is my current FDM version, Version: 6.15.2.4167 (76da8dc).

This means that something on your PC keeps breaking FDM installation. Probably some buggy antivirus.

I don't have third party anti virus softwares. It's only Windows Defender by default which is also turned off. I turned off real time protection before installation of FDM but still getting errors.

Sorry, I don't have a time to investigate your case. I believe it's something in your PC, probably some malware / damaged hard drive / etc. I don't think it can be a bug in FDM.

why don't you send portable version of fdm in zip file so that the fdm contain full file and the problem will be solved forever, if it is not a bug from fdm end.

My windows seems fine, scanned the whole hdd and there was no malware. If its hard drive damaged my pc won't boot but hdd seems fine to me. I even unplugged hdd and plugged it again just to check if its hdd issue.

First, you can easy unpack FDM installer for Windows with open source Inno Setup Unpacker.
Second, FDM 6.x has no portable version, it always makes entries in Windows registry and by default uses standard system locations for program and data files.
Third, there may be other issues with system, for example problems with FDM install folder or FDM data caused by broken Windows Update.
