Re: Italian translation for Free Download Manager 3.x / 5.x
Your translation for FDM 3.9.6 should be converted to Unicode (UTF-16).
Have you tried to download files from Mega using FDM?
Have you sent the translations to FDM support as described in FDM FAQ?

@Usher
Thanks for quickly reply.
Of course I always sent previous email to support email (since 2012...).
But only recently I didn't see my updates applied to new program versions.
I repacked the text file in UTF-8 (and I uploaded it on zippyshare - I didn't understand the problem about mega).
http://www50.zippyshare.com/v/t06HdMcX/file.html
In my text editor
Notepad++ I have UTF-8/UTF-8 without BOM/USC-2 Big Endian/UCS-2 Little Endian
Pspad i have UTF-8/UTF-8 without BOM/UTF-16 Big Endian/UTF-16 Little Endian
Which is the right for you?

Re: Italian translation for Free Download Manager 3.x / 5.x
x86 architecture is Little Endian, and UCS-2 is a subset of UTF-16, so you should choose UCS-2 Little Endian in Notepad++ or UTF-16 Little Endian in PSpad (or just Unicode in Windows Notepad) for *.lng files. And it's not for me only, it's just least problematic for most users.

Re: Italian translation for Free Download Manager 3.x / 5.x
English is encoded as US-ASCII and this charset is a subset of all 8-bit encodings, including UTF-8, so it doesn't matter what you declare for English.
Your translation sent to zippyshare seems to be in UTF-8 rather than in preferred UTF-16 Little Endian. I don't know Italian, so I can't check if the translation is really correct.

Re: Italian translation for Free Download Manager 3.x / 5.x
Sorry for misunderstanding- I didn't ask you to check Italian language.
I asked you to check if UTF-8 without BOM Italian language is compatible for your program.
But to avoid problem I will convert in UTF-16 LE.
I Propose you to include tthis tricks (I didn't find it) about UTF-16 LE in language file as comment in the header.

Translations are not for me, I'm only a FDM user. That's why I'm asking you to send the files to the developers.
Just one question - How did you make translation for FDM 5.x?
