Missing downloads
Missing downloads
When I started Freedom today all of the completed, scheduled and stopped downloads are gone. What happened? Is there a way to restore my lists of downloads?
I see where the list of downloads etc are kept. They are kept in .sav files in the FDM directory. Mine have nothing in them except for one download. What would cause the files to be overwritten or created new? Would an update cause this? There was one existing STOPPED download left so I know it wasn't a reinstall. Help!!!
Same problem here!!!
It lost ALL my downloads too... what's up?
Anyone have a cure??
can we stop it from recurring?
can we recover the lost items?

There are several reasons that might cause the loss of downloads:
1. Too big autosave interval (the default is 10 min. - this interval guarantees (excluding file system and disk errors) that you will not lost the downloads older than 10 min, but you still may lose downloads that was created in the last 10 min if computer hung or crush will occur.
2. The file that contains FDM downloads was used by other app while FDM is starting.
3. The file might be damaged in a case of crash of the computer if it is stored on the disk with FAT32 file system.

1. is not a probable cause...I didnot change the defaults
2. Does this include antiviruses? There's no other exe that accesses files.
