I really wonder if the developer of FDM still continues to develop FDM. Because not only feature requests, but even bug fix requests get ignored.

I do know that FDM is a free program and that we can't expect much, but at least a simple answer will suffice.

Just tried to download mms streams with FDM - "URL incorrect" and I had to use Orbit instead :(

I want mms support too. Do developers know that FDM has a wide number of users around the world? +1 for this request, from Thailand

The FDM updated to version 3.0 and have not received this support to download the protocol mms.
It is the only thing that is lacking in this great program!
The developers have a date for when it will be ready?
Thank you

Agreed. +1 vote for rtsp and mms.

Is the dev active atm? it doesn't seem like any dev actually reads these forums

I dont remember what an MMS stream is but if its what I think it is it should be able to choose a point in the 'stream' to start the download. I know n3ttransport allows for the user to specify the start and end time of a video stream and I have used it in the past. Unfortunately n3ttransport fails when it comes to resuming/importing broken downloads. FDM also has some strange issues regarding resuming downloads but that is in a different topic.

Add protocols....

Postby newguy » Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:27 pm

Please add the following protocols:

Support MMS, RTSP and RTMP protocols.

I am surprised that they have not been added.
