Hello,
Just don't use it if you don't need it. It's not active in any way in case it's not enabled.

Re: FDM 6
Dear Developers;
Why not following features
1. two separate add link buttons one for normal and second for parsing with elephant addon
2. Download popup button over web players
Why?
1. two separate button if present then redirection is easy and parsing for normal download takes less time to give download info.
2. Some sites (Video sharing) doesnot allow right click menu, so choose download video from right click popup menu is not possible. if a download button shows over/above web players then downloading could be easier.
OR
alternatively you can develop a fresh new dialog as media grabber to grab videos from web pages and there we choose what to download what not to.
thanks

Re: FDM 6
It's not unusual to get this type of "error"
https://i.postimg.cc/wMyC4RHq/FDM.png
In this case, I was attempting to save a Mozilla support page, using the browser's "Save Page as" option
I use both the "Download with Free Download Manager" and "Free Download Manager extension" addons. I had to make them "inactive" from the toolbar buttons so the browser could successfully complete the job.
Is there a way to avoid the error? Is it advisable to use both addons?

Hello,
This error means that web server returned a web page. You can disable this kind of errors in FDM's settings.

Can I assume you're referring to this?

Are there any other settings that relate to this issue? Is there any risk associated with disabling it?

Well, it's weird. FDM should not interfere in this case. What browser do you use?

Re: FDM 6
I'm a newbie so I have no idea how to check the technical details but I have windows 11 laptop and have used FDM for years on my mac. Now I start to download and after 30 seconds the app crashes and closes. I googled and never found a solution. I uninstalled and re-installed and after a few days its happening again. I use chrome and the latest version of FDM that I downloaded on this site...
Any idea why this happens?
