After chosen "Delete from disk" please show a question like "Really delete x files?" in case one has choosen it in error or by wrong handling.

This question could also be helpful for "Remove from list". Thank you very much.

Thank you for the suggestion. It has been added to our to-do list.

Ok, I get it. Working Set = Shareable + Private. Where Private is the actual usage, and shareable is somewhat reserved but can be released if others need them. :)

I've installed the 5.1.7, and seems like the deleting problem is okay right now, though I'll keep an eye on it, and will notify again if something behave weird again. :)

And, I've visited your FDM 5.x Feature Request (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17410) thread, and there are features I would love to have (like, Hash Checking, Floating Monitor, File Mirrors), but will vote untill 'Dynamic Speed Management' is added, as it says only 3 votes can be cast (only 3 is kinda restrictive, but I'm sure there must be some reason behind this).

Thanks :)

Added it as a line item.

I set 3 because, in reality, I want all items listed, but the three most important to me are the ones that I voted for. Would you rather I make it open ended?

As I said earlier that there must be some reason behind this, so I still support the 3 vote method.

I also have posted something in your feature request thread.

Thanks :)

Reason for 3 was that I selected it. I can make it any number I want, from a single to allowing as many as there are options.

I personally picked 3 to see what 3 things people most want to see in FDM 5

Version 5.1.8 just released!

- Move to trash instead of actually deleting files,
- Improved YouTube speed,
- Quick Look for Mac,

And many other bugfixes.

Note for Safari users (Mac OS X): the extension isn't updated automatically (waiting for Extension Gallery approval).
To update the extension to the latest version (v0.7.5), please click the extension link in Preferences > Browser Integration.

Hello.

Could you please bring back an option to overwrite old files on downloading?

It was available in alpha version, but I can't find it in current version.
For now it always renames a new file with prefix like this "setup (1).exe".
It's really unusable for me :)

Thanks.

Hope that the FDM team will be able to release the official version of FDM5 as soon as possible, we have been waiting for a very long time. And suggestions for the Chinese market, because only two Chinese similar to FDM software vendors and their download tool or for a fee, fee become members of the speed limit, so FDM can with free to beat them.

(Background: some downloads get invalid after some hours, 24 hrs. or some days. How can I know the time when I added the download?)

In the log files, all the information, including the date and time of downloads, is stored unchanged. Could you please give us an example where the time info became invalid?

Example 1: movie 1
Column "Added" tells: 0:12
=> Movie was added 0:12 on Apr. 2. It is OK.

Example 2: movie 2
Column "Added" tells: Apr. 1
Log of FDM tells: Apr 1, 2016 23:58:56 Starting download
=> But what time it was added? Can you please add this time of adding to log of FDM

As the Log shows, Apr 1, 2016 23:58:56 is the time when the download was added. Could you kindly clarify what exactly you'd like to see in the Log file?

Hi Developers :)

Please may I ask whether your "To Do List" you often mention is published anywhere AND IF NOT may I ask why not?
The reason I ask is because posters do not know or easily now what suggestions are on the Developer To Do list and which are not. If a "To Do" list is posted and updated with new additions and those done, it would greatly help keep us all informed. Please note I am not asking for a timetable.

By posting a "To Do" list, I feel it would help avoid duplicate posts and save readers having to read the ever increasing posts to see whether a suggestion has been brought up earlier and already added added to the To Do list.
I hope you agree.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Hello!

We're planning to start working on the version for Linux after the stable release of FDM5.1.

i would really like these features in the upcoming builds, i don't think implementing them will be that hard for you guys.

- when a sties url is pasted into the add download option (+), it will spider the website; finding any downloadable contents and will offer a list similar to the youtube's one for the user to choose which items to download.

- individual downloads bandwidth allocation, it is a option widely seen in bittorrent downloaders. the dl and up speed box's color will change indicating different bandwidth is set for each download.

- a custom value input option in manual bandwidth allocation.

really love your work. hope you guys will release the stable version very soon and finally claim the throne from IDM.

Hello!

The future release will support localization files so our users can switch the language of the FDM interface to their native one.
