However, when we download youtube video, audio and video are downloaded separately which is not read by dvd or any player.
Kindly rectify it.

Hello!
Thank you for the feedback,
The problem you're describing seems unusual, could you give us the link that didn't work for you?
If that happens for any link from Youtube - could you give us a more elaborate report: the current build you're using, your operating system?
Looking forward to your reply.

Re: FDM 5.0 alpha - Save to Folder xml?
PanPan78 wrote:Good morning,
as i've been searching for 'Save to Folder' topic and couldn't find if such a bug/limitation was already posted, did someone also noticed that already used folder location paths history may be lost but (last one?) such as C:\Users\<user>\Download ?
Cheers,
Daniel
Hello!
There is no such limitation, it could be a bug. The number of last saved download paths is 5 by default. Do you by any chance recall changing the number in the Settings?
Or do you remember anything you changed prior to the problem?
Thank you for the report.

but it is really irritate me that why you use old codes from FDM 3.x to build FDM 5.x. It is very hard to design new ones and by that you have to do less codes and troubleshooting is much easier. And please create a little smaller font size in next FDM 5.x.
Below is the files and folder as follows
fdm.exe (main application file)
fdm.dll (application extension of support protocol)
iefdmbho.dll (extension for IE and supported browser including context menu)
npfdm.dll (extension for browser support)
browserscatcher.dll (extension support for all browser to integrate- or u can name urself)
fdmsniffer.dll (catch videos from web players from all browsers)
addons folder contains *.crx, *.xpi and so on for all browser extension.
data folder contain all data
plugins folder contain all plugins like ytparsar.dll for youtube parsing, zip support and all.
thank you
Hello!
We are not doing any extra work or rebuilding the whole thing from scratch,
Regarding the smaller font size -- could you give us additional info? For example, does the font size seem too big for you in the entire UI or certain elements? What is your screen resolution/monitor?
Thank you for the feedback.

In other words, offer to copy all settings from the current 3.9 version when installing, but then keep all the settings separate.
I , too, would have preferred to see the option to save or back up whatever i had in 3.9.xx i was up to. by accident, i did. but only through luck.
It had frozen somehow on me and stayed stuck through a couple of re-boots but magically came back...after i had installed 5alpha.
I have used fdm for many years, however long it has been around and had maybe 2 issues over the years. my fault i think both(or few)times. so few issues with it, seems like none at all.
I can only comment on what i see, I do not like the current interface, i see a post from victoria that indicates some things will be put back in. I do not like any trends toward minimalism on any OS just to make it easier on some pocket sized devices. I tend to appreciate the ability to customize what i put up on my screen. not be stuck with some 8color pallet as i had with my first mac, there were probably 256 and lower as many people recall. just going from montors which would support colors after mono chrome screens
Enough on that, just my feelings toward forward progress.
I have been so happy on the whole with how fdm has behaved in my browsers, with torrents and video downloading i look to it as standard must have default almost with every type of download.
I had gotten used to the fluidity in updates and changes, too.
John
Hello!
We are thinking it over, and it's likely to be implemented, but it is yet unclear what it would look like.
Thank you for the feedback!

it's possible to add 'jolly character' if I have to download a file with a name that changes with the date?
Ex: if I have to download a file as: 'namefile21-11-2014.mp3', where 21 is the day, 11 the month and 2014 the year, it's possible to create a schedule name like 'namefile%day%-%month%-%year%.mp3'?
And another useful function: if I have to download the same file, but referred to morning..
ex: today is the 21st November 2014 and I have to download a file with the date of tomorrow as 'namefile22-11-2014', it's possible to create a schedule name like 'namefile%day+1%-%month%-%year%.mp3'?
thank you and best regards,
Massimo
Hello!
Thank you for the suggestion, it isn't on our immediate plans, but we'll consider adding it in the future.

Hello!
crx: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... bfdp?hl=en
You can find the XPI file in the installation folder of FDM.
Regarding the 4 suggestions: These features are not yet on the list, and it's unclear whether they will be,
Thank you for the feedback!

Dear Clive
1. For the development of FDM 5.x
It uses much more files. For example Ccleaner, wise software etc compiled and set in single exe to do all of its works so i thought you can do the same and the folder of FDM 5.x installation will be with files as follows fdm.exe, fdm.dll, iefdmbho.dll, fdm.crx, fdm.xpi, npfdm.dll, fdmsniffer.dll, fdmcapture.dll and you know more than me how to built and manage it and assign its functions.
2. regarding FDM font size
my screen resolution is 1366x768 windows 7 32-bit. and i think users want a little smaller font size of the program otherwise its great.
thank you

Hi!
2. Ok, got it. It's not going to be changed in the near future, but thank you for the feedback and the request, we appreciate that!
Re: FDM 5.0 alpha
When do we get a new alpha version to test out? Are you guy working on it so it works with Windows 10?
Re: FDM 5.0 alpha
Common devs do something faster waiting for the next release and anticipating "wow" things in the next release..
thanks
thanks

Fresh interface and not errors after one hour downloading. I installed it by default manager so i will keep editing in case to be necesary.
Re: FDM 5.0 alpha
This might have been asked before, I don't know.
I did try to search but couldn't find anything about it in this thread.
Will the great dropbox feature be back in v5?
I am currently testing v5 alpha and already I miss the dropbox function..
So will it be back? Or did I miss some setting and it's in there somewhere?
Have been using FDM for some time and find it to be even better that the older versions of flashget I used to use. The 3.xx versions of flashget suck I think.
Keep up the great work devs.
