No offence if you are moving with this i am going to skip FDM and use DAP or other freeware.
JDownloader 2 is the better solution for that.

I have experimented some with 5.0 Alfa and have some questions and comments:

What does the advanced setting "Perform integrity check" do? I see no response to it or request for hash code.
Is it possible to see a log during a DL?
Is there a setting to do an AV scan?
The advanced option to place files in a designated folder should make it clear that these are FDM files not DLs.
This is a really spare presentation. Are more skins planned?
Will there be an option for sounds to mark events?

I suspect some of these are just due to the Alfa nature of version 5.0

Lol - this is what I get for going on vacation for 6 weeks....

I'll be back home next week to put this Alpha through its paces. BTW, can it be installed side by side with 3.x? I'm guessing not since it uses a lot of the same files (from what I'm reading in Usher's posts)....

Still it would be useful if they could be installed side by side (maybe not necessarily both active) so it would be easy to do a side by side comparison....

Initial impressions:
Works pretty well so far.
More customization options needed for Torrents (such as setting the ports, adjusting speed, etc).
I am afraid to integrate with Chrome for fear of crashing it like the 3.x.x series

Will there be a Classic Skin? Or Skins?

I really like the UI on this version.

It crashes constantly for me, though - probably Aero related, it usually is.
