You must stop, and than start again, download will continue (in 1.0 it works).

Is your file system FAT? You should use NTFS to store files that larger than 4096 MB.

Access Denied

For the same file (4168MB) , when I check the Reserve space option, it shows access denied when downloading. How to rectify this ? :?:

Disk Write Error

Postby Panther » Wed Oct 27, 2004 9:02 pm

It works fine with other downloads which total upto the same size. Why only with one File and also why can't I reserve the space, even though I have lot of space on the HD?

I meant you should use NTFS instead of FAT32.

This is not error of FDM! Officially FAT32 support files size <= 4 GB!!! To work with files more then 4 GB you must use NTFS :!:

Thank you guys.

I got the answer yesterday, when I tried it on NTFS myself. It worked.

Also why is that FDM doesn't allow us to change the URL ? :?:

You guys should have put that option in the current version atleast.
