Using VPN split tunneling with FDM

Postby Guest » Mon May 09, 2022 10:41 am

What executable file is responsible for seeding contents after finished downloading torrents?
I used FDM with split tunneling on a VPN to download a torrent, things went well, but after the download finished, the VPN software terminated the connection stating that I used a P2P connection inside the tunnel.

Hello,
Didn't get you. Regarding your request - downloading and seeding is performed by the same executable - fdm.

I thought so too. It took me about 5 minutes to download 2.4 GB of torrents. It went flawlessly, but my VPN software detects P2P protocol only after the download has finished and begin the phase of seeding only.
