Something is wrong with the new version.
Besides with the problems with the views that make it really hard to use, at least how I used it before, there is a big problem with download speed and how connections are managed now (seems like uploading is taking many slow upload connections or something).
Just installed BiglyBT and I am achieving 5x speeds ... barley make 10-15Mb down on fdm now ... close to 80-90 with BiglyBT ....
Before used to be able to be around 40-50Mb with FDM which was fine.
Hate to compare again, but BiglyBT allows to click and sort any column, like FDM used to do.
Would suggest a simple configuration (choose which columns to display on each view, and esure that all columns are sortable ... special condensed no sortable columns can be an option for whoever needs them, but give us the option to use the simple columns (download speed, status, etc.)

Really love FDM and would like to stick to it if things get fixed.

There might be some incompatibility between FDM extension for Chrome and Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension for Chrome. I saw an error warning at the FDM extension for Chrome saying that Malwarebytes Browser Guard was related to it. Something about renaming downloads. Please fix, thank you.

Hello, I was waiting for the issue to happen again. It happened when I downloaded a PDF file some moments ago. I cancelled the download with FDM in order to download it with Chrome, and the issue appeared:

I don't understand this language. It seems this window and message in it belongs to some Malwarebytes extension. In this case you should write to them about this issue. There is nothing we can do.

Kindly release atleast forum review of new updated FDM. it will give general idea of updated product and users will get a worthy product at the end..

I've noticed the update checker sometimes is a bit behind - I wonder if this is because it's released slowly - i.e. some programs will release an update slowly, rather than releasing it to every user instantaneously, which can avoid bandwidth issues and can help if there's a bug found.

I have noticed that doing the update within the program is also very slow, certainly with downloading, when compared to downloading it manually

I reported it via feedback button months before. never fixed. my fdm only found update 1 time during my use of it. and i manually updated fdm because of it at least 10 times. as i said never fixed. just like youtube download problem. now we have addons god knows how many months will pass untill someone makes an addon for it. i wish dev would release addon atleast for youtube in a maybe different 3rd party name if he is afraid.
