Google Chrome Integration

I've been using both Google Chrome and FDM for quite some time now and I love both!

The issue is as follows:
FDM 'supports' Google Chrome.
When I try to download something from a website that maintains a session after login which has been established through a form login. FDM downloads the login page instead,

I tried this primarily while downloading Oracle Database 10g

This would in my opinion make FDM even better

An other vote for Chrome integration.

I use FDM since a long time ago within firefox since the 3.0 release and before that within IE6, I mostly only use the context menu options.

I now migrated to Chrome 4, the plugin is installed but there is no FDM context menu, the monitoring is ok but I am not interested with it.

Thanks for reading

I especially miss the "Add FDM to the browser context menu" option for chrome. Even if this option is checked, it won't add anything to chrome, and this way I can't download a bunch of PDFs by selecting all of them. Could You fix this?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Laszlo

This isn't possible... Context menu in chrome are not accessible (only experimental option when starting chrome let extension or plugins to add a context menu in the beta or dev version of chrome (5.x or 6.x))

I want better chrome integration too even if you have to use a plugin (as opposed to an extension) like flash or adobe reader does in chrome. I don't care if we have to use the dev version of google chrome for it to work either (if it won't work on earlier versions of chrome)

Thanks :)

sorry for the newbie question but... has this integration happened yet? I see the option for chrome monitoring (in the Lite version) but then I'm prompted for a file... which I don't have... is it available for download?
thanks.

I agree integration would be fabulous, but in the meantime there is an extension you can get for Chrome called DM-Bridge which enables you to choose your own downloader (including this one) - works for me.

FDM being well intergrated with chrome would be great, especially since that would mean that it would probably with well with Iron (chrome based browser that doesn't send browsing info back to google) too!
