How do I get FDM to download automatically?
After loading a bunch of files into the FDM queue, I can't get it to download them one after another. It just downloads 1,3 or 4 (depending if I've selected light, med or heavy) and stops without progressing through the list. When I right click on the files, "Start download automatically" is already checked.
Could someone give me a checklist of things that I have to do to make this work? It's really frustrating.
Thanks!

I've just installed FDM and I have the same problem. It seems to be a very good download manager if only I got the automatic download to work.
But as long as this feature won't work, the main reason for using a download manager is lost. I can only assume that I'm doing something wrong since the option "start download automatically" is available. But for me it only downloads 2 files (if this is what I've chosen in the option) simultaneously. And when these files have completed and I click "start all downloads" it will continue with the next two downloads in the queue. I have to repeat this each time a download is complete if I want to get all the files.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

Please mail to support (s u p p o r t @ freedownloadmanager . org), and attach the file with your downloads. It is "downloads.sav" file. And it is located in the:
1. "Documents and settings\%Your user name%\Application Data\Free
Download Manager\", if your OS is NT/2000/XP, or
2. "Program Files\Free Download Manager\", if your OS is Win9x/ME.
