Postby gardenerstouch » Fri Jun 13, 2008 1:48 am

Just wondering if there is any active work on rewriting the Firefox plugin to function with FireFox 3 ?

Thanks. I didn't know that there was a new build available. I kept seeing the same version number when I came to your web site and thought it han't been unpdated yet.

Is the "lite" version also update to build 758 it does not make this clear on your site and the check for update feature on Build 755 lite does not report any new versions.

After update to new build Firefox 3.0 was still complaining about plug-in FDM 1.3.1 ... I removed it from firefox, reinstalled FDM : thereafter FDM 1.3.2 was loaded and working in Firefox.

Hi, i installed the newest Build, and the extension is now the version 1.3.2 but i can't download my selected pictures with the plugin? Does the new version not support the download of selected files?

Sorry, I can't reproduce your problem here.
Downloading images works fine for me.
Just right-click on the image and select 'downlaod with FDM' (sorry if the function is called diffrend, I use the german version)

I too have the same problem but in my case there is no extension either. When I right click there is nothing there, nothing in the Addons/Extensions menu and only an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. It appears loads of people are having problems with this build from crashing to non incorporation judging from the forums here and elsewhere. I wonder if it was a rush job to meet Firefox 3 arrival ?

For most of us, FDM 2.5.758 with plugin 1.3.2 is working fine with Firefox 3. For those still having issues, try uninstalling FDM completely (export your Download list first), reboot, and re-install FDM. Verify that FDM plugin 1.3.2 is listed as installed in Firefox> Tools> Add-ons. Also, make sure you have Firefox monitoring enabled at FDM> Options> Download options> Monitoring tab. On the same tab, verify that the browser context menu is enabled, then click Customize to setup preferences. Click Apply, OK to exit.

Ok, now it works fine for me. I had the Flashgot Plugin in my Firefox 3. It was disabled, but it seems, that FDM works not proberly when this Plugin is installed. After deinstalling it works. :)
