Downloaded awhile ago beta version of FDM v5, everything worked nicely. Then used auto update to latest beta and torrent loading stopped working. Tried uninstalling and then install latest beta, still same. All trackers always time out, official latest FDM 3.9.7 version works fine on same torrents. Any ideas?

Is the stable 5 out? The site features v 5 now but nothing on the forum.

The current version of FDM 5.1 have no way of choosing the language, what’s wrong with it?

Hi, I am testing 5.1.9.3627 (ed130b1) in Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet.

I have made a few simple tests and it seems to work fine.

This version of the application does not seem to support multiple monitors with different scaling. My tablet uses 250% but my external monitor is at 100%. Moving the FDM window from the tablet to the external monitor must change the windows size to reflect the different scaling of the new monitor. The FDM window becomes enormous at 250% on a standard resolution monitor.

Installing FDM version 5 without manually installing version 3 may result in duplicate link catching. I got Chrome links to open in FDM version 5, but Firefox links to open in version 3. Perhaps I did something wrong with the plug-ins, and of course I could have deactivated this manually. I would still like to suggest that the version 5 installer could say "Would you like to deactivate link catching for your version 3 installation?" or something like that.

When I open the user interface, it says "Drag & Drop URL or torrent here". I had the URL in the clipboard and now I know I could have just clicked on "+", then OK (nice feature!). I just wanted to suggest that you could show the same "Add download - Enter download URL" window when there is a left or right mouse click in the drop box from an amateur.

It is really sad that I have to agree, too. I hope that the 3.9 version will continue to be available. Otherwise FDM would not be the first program I'll quit to use because of downgrading features and UI.

My Wishlist for 5.X:
- Add Autoclear completed downloads
- Add Auto traffic (connections, number downloads, ..) from 3.9.
- Support import or paste multiple links for 5.X

Rest is OK. Good Job.
