There used to be an option to disable clipboard monitoring in the preferences, but I can't find it now.
I'm having issues with FDM interfering with Excel clipboard operations so disabling clipboard monitoring would likely fix this.

if the download is not running then exit FDM for the time and enjoy uninterrupted excel work.

Yes, that works, but it's a PITA

Like I said, there used to be an option which would fix this!

If your FDM is a Addon in the Browser you have to go to that settings and disable it. If you don't have the Addon then you installed it with the option run FDM when you start Windows and you need to go to FDM settings and disable it from running when you start the computer. But since we have no FDM version trying to figure this out will be next to impossible.
