No browser support other than IE at the moment [v1.0].
It's as useful as a teaspoon without a handle.

Light Downloader supports IE now, and the Firefox/Opera will be supported soon.

LD has my blessings. They will need all the help they can get to become as good as FDM.

It's nothing but a rip-off!
After installing it, it took over from FDM, those guys didn't even bother to use different registry keys.
After un-installing it, FDM stopped working! had to install it again.
Stay away from that crap.
And sue the bastards!

The developers said that the version compatible with Firefox will be release into the next month (feb 2010). Light Downloader seems to be a clone of FDM (without bittorrent support).
There is an announce on CNET for the version 1.0
http://download.cnet.com/Light-Downloader/3000-2071_4-75063935.html?tag=mncolThere is not a review, neither from CNET nor from the users....
