Windows 7 and RapidShare
Windows 7 and RapidShare
I've just formatted my PC and installed Windows 7. I'm currently using FDM 3.0 build 848 on it. I'm a RapidShare Pemium user and direct downloading via FDM was working on Windows Vista. However, it doesn't work on Windows 7 and all I get is a file of 30KB. I'm logged in to RapidShare both in Internet Explorer and Firefox. I suppose FDM is having trouble getting the RapidShare cookie from the browser. Is there a solution for this?
Re: Windows 7 and RapidShare
Try 871 build. See the topmost topic of this forum.

Re: Windows 7 and RapidShare
I'm using Firefox 3.5.4. I tried both clicking on the link, and copying and pasting it to FDM's new download dialog.
Re: Windows 7 and RapidShare
I know how to fix this problem for once and for all, but unfortunatelly,
Alex who knows the real reason for it prefers to keep it for himself.
So, I wish you good luck in fixing it yourself.

Same for me. I'm using Firefox 3.5.5 and FDM is not correctly integrating.
If you have a RapidShare account, try the following:
1) Open an blank page in FireFox and past the following URL: http://rs691l32.rapidshare.com/files/302788009/K-Lite_Codec_Pack_540_Mega.rar. FDM comes in and offers you a file of 30.2 Kb.
2) Now do the same in IE 8. Now FDM comes in with a file 23.1 Mb!
So something is broken here...

Freedownloadmanager + windows7 + Rapidshare premium = works great ! ( 100% )
Just do this:
1 - Go to site manager and select "Add site"
2 - In site name write "rapidshare.com"
3 - Select "Login required" and insert your username and password from Rapidshare.
4 - Press OK. ( don't select anything else )
Enjoy your full speed downloads.

MaXCoDeR,

No, I'm only using the official FDM plugin.
Re: Windows 7 and RapidShare
I found a solution in this thread.
Disabling protected mode in IE and then re-logging in to RapidShare works.
