HTTP Error 410

An error I get for longer downloads, I think the websites rotate links for the same file. I'm unsure of how to start the download with the new link and use what I have downloaded already without starting a completely new file. This is not a magnet or torr file.

Rotating links will not work with FDM because the nature of the link changes it must be connected and not stop to work to complete the download. Any broken links will require a completely new download. AFAIK

Yes, it sometimes happens when downloading through a link that will rotate.
But do not worry as you will not have to restart the download.
Here are steps to continue your download if you get a HTTP Error 410 code
1. Get a new link for your download and copy it. (The old link is expired.)
2. Right-click on your download (The one with an error code.)
3. Click CHANGE LINK
4. Paste the new link that you copied in step 1.
5. Start the download
If you follow these steps the download will resume from the point it stopped because of the expired link.

Hello,
Did you add this download using browser extension? If yes, I suggest you to update to the latest version of FDM and try to add a new download using the same way. FDM should be able then to resume this broken download.

File no longer exits at that location.
The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 410 Gone client error response code indicates that access to the target resource is no longer available at the origin server and that this condition is likely to be permanent.
