I am seeing the same issue. I Just updated to the latest version of FDM last week. So 5 months later, this still hasn't been fixed?

Also, FDM won't allow the download to restart once disk space is freed up. I unpaused the download, but FDM downloads other files but not this one. If I click the "paused all" button, it still shows the "Low Disk Space" message for this file even though disk space is no longer an issue.

It also seems FDM won't allow new files to be added after it shows the "Low Disk Space" error. Why? Whatever happens with the old "Download Anyway" button? Why can't I add the URL to download first and then free up disk space later?

The devs are working on these issues, but there's a lot to do.

I tried to install couple of times FDM 5.1 x64/x86.

but FDM can not start. it just display Splash screen then nothing open. process remain running in task manager.

what i need to do ?

Error start appearing when i updated my OS to Windows 10 Pro 1803.
Before my OS was Windows Pro 1796 it was working perfectly good.

Could you follow the reporting rules and describe your software and your actions in more details, please?

I'm curious about a couple of things. Which is the preferred Firefox addon, v.30.11 or v3.0.24?

Is the toolbar button supposed to capture/display downloads, or is that only done from the context menu?

Lately I have FDM spontaneously capturing random files. I was just at google play, checking out this app

and I can't remember the exact sequence of events that may may prompted it, but suddenly FDM popped up wanting to download the logo file of the app I was looking at. The file name was unnamed.png.

It may have happened when I restarted the browser, but I did nothing like click a link or save something or copy something that may have initiated it under normal circumstances.

yes, this is a common recent complaint. The devs are onto it.

Now more than 2 months have passed since the faulty version 5.1.37 came out.
And about half a year has passed since the last quite stable verion 5.1.34 came out.
Is there a timeframe for the next update (hopefully with some bugfixes) to be released ?
