FDM cannot work with Waterfox Version 37.0.1 please fix it please please!!!

After I close FDM I still see the icon in the systray. I think this happens since 3.9.5, because I never noticed this before.

I use windows 8 (x64)

FDM does not save the URL in the properties of the download


FDM is incorrectly detecting "no resume support" from this server, but IDM is susceding.

I suspect you may have some malware installed. Note also that you should NOT have two download managers active simultaneously, at a time.

Could you follow the reporting rules and post more details, please? Is Waterfox 32- or-64-bit? What exactly can't work? What are error messages?

FDM by default minimizes to tray when clicking the "X" (close) button. If you want to really close FDM you can:
- change FDM settings;
- use Alt+X or menu.

Note that slow closing is normal when downloading torrents. FDM recalculates hashes for torrent pieces on closing. It may be also flushing of FDM download cache if you have many large downloads active.

NOOOOOOOO. There are no active DLs and no data are written. I always close the program via right click on the collection box and select "Close". And this really closes the application, because I can't see it in ProcessHacker any longer, but the icon is still there. When I hover over it with the mouse, the icon goes away.





This never happend under version 3.9.4.

I don't know what's going on and I can't fully verify your report as I don't use Windows 8.1, maybe some other users can.
But do you have also problems with resizing windows or pressing Alt+PrnScr to show only needful things instead of huge blank space?

So, I spoke too soon. IE11 is still crashing in background after closing before the IE process exits.
This time is the crash at a different place in the stack.

Are you sure it does not crash if you disable the FDM addon?
What other addons do you have enabled in IE?

It does not allways crash. Its random. I have no significant addons in IE11 except of AuthenTec TrueSuite. Otherwise only the common standard - Flash, Shockwave, JRE, few MS Office components (groove, document cache handlers)
IE crashed no matter if the browser monitoring was enabled or not.
I've disabled the addon for now for testing. So far so good. Last time, I had to remove the addon not only by disabling it but also unregister the dll. Back then, the crash was on a different method call. I'll keep you posted.
