FDM in combi with IE SP2 useless?
FDM in combi with IE SP2 useless?
As of installation of SP2 on XP, FDM has become unable to pick up the download links being clicked on in IE.
I have already reinstalled FDM, but no change.
Does somebody have a working FDM on XP IE with SP2?

Yes! I have installt SP2 at 22september. Downloading with FDM works the same as in SP1. I just downloaded the Dutch Language. No Problem

Give me an example off a downloadablelink that don't work with
FDM. From a guest from Holland.
I have the same problem here in Windows XP SP2, but only with Internet Explorer.
Firefox, Opera and K-Meleon (using the Netscape Plugin) seem to be working fine as downloads are being picked up by FDM consistently...
In Internet Explorer not only download able files are no longer picked up by FDM, also the native "Save as" dialog in Internet Explorer no longer appears at all...
The file seems to be downloaded (judging from the message in the Internet Explorer taskbar), and later doing a search through my "Temporary Internet Files" folder reveals the file being downloaded there.
With me this behaviour started after installing and un-installing the NetTransport download manager. (I un-installed it, because of the lack of support for a virus scanner), so I guess NetTransport is some way screwed up my FDM settings, but reinstalling FDM does not seem to fix the problem...
Any suggestions..?

John...
