I can confirm that: "Something went wrong with internal downloads"

Eagleget downloads it in a flash, which leads to my question.

Can anyone else tell me if they have noticed that FDM downloads have slowed down drastically? I much prefer FDM to Eagleget, tho Eagleget has historically in my estimation been a little faster, but now there's a very wide gap, consistently, for some time now.

For example,I just started downloading The Macrium reflect installer at Softpedia with FDM, 62.8 mb, a file I would normally expect in the past to complete in a matter of seconds. But after watching it trudge along for about 30 seconds, I started a Eagleget download which still finished before considerably before FDM. I just tried it again. It was slightly faster this time, less than 350kb/s opposed to last time when it was about 115 kb\s, but still not nearly up to par by FDM standards from my experience.

Is there a settings adjustment I'm missing?

How do I establish the default download folder? It's stuck on one folder. It wont remember the last folder used.

EDIT: I have "Remember all destination folders" checked.

The speed of downloading depends not only on the speed of the Internet but also on how fast the files are given by the server.
Please provide sample URLs where you encountered the issue and the download speed numbers for them.

This works as advertised unless the FDM extension is active. In this case my setting is ignored and Firefox always opens the 'Save As' file picker.

Currently rolling with 5.1.34.6893 on Firefox 58.0 (64-bit).
Dear User!

Please describe in more details where and what parameters you configure.
Kindly provide us with a screenshot and a link as an example.

Regards,
Clive

I'm using Windows 7 x64 and FDM extension 3.0.6. There is nothing more to it than what I wrote before:

Hey, Cain, our devs are wondering if FDM doesn't always capture the downloads after a click.
