Just D/L and tried Maxthon 1.1.061, and FDM works a good deal better. It now obeys the "Silent Monitoring" feature. Now most links instantly start downloading without the annoying confirmation window. I have the sound configured so that I know the D/L has started successfully. YESSSSSS!

Still some issues with PHP, such as downloading from Betanews.com http://fileforum.betanews.com/releases?num=50 I have to click the "If the download doesn't start, click here" link.

But hey, I'm a happy camper now, and apoligize for previous criticism about the silent feature not working. My bad!
