Microsoft is still doing patches on patch Tuesday each month for XP electronic point of sale version. So far every one of these patches has also correctly patched normal XP too. Of course Microsoft don't want too many people to realise this.

The default installation location isn't even in "C:\Program Files".
Is your target market now people who are not really allowed to install software on their work PC but you're going to help them do it anyway?

Previously users reported that they couldn't install FDM without Administrator rights. Taking this, the default installation path is now used to allow FDM installation or updating even if you're not an Administrator.

And the reason those people couldn't log on as an administrator was that THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE INSTALLING SOFTWARE.

This is changed since v5.1.1: the default path for admin users is now Program Files.

Missing the option "Start minimized" - at the start of the download should only pop up a window with download of the file, and the main window should be in the system tray.

Unfortunately, that module was build without the debug info. Please wait for the version 5.1.2 (we'll release it in a few hours) and send us the dump from there.

BTW: if it's a full dump, it's not a good idea to share it to public. In theory, it may contain sensitive information from RAM: cookies, passwords, etc. I've removed the link from your posts. For future cases, you can send it via private message to me (or anyone active in the topic with "FDM Team" caption under avatar & name on the left).
